Implementation of the International Classification of Functioning for Management a Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Team Work in Stroke Unit

Abstract

Assessment of the efficiency of rehabilitation with ICF and software "ICF-reader" to reduce disability for patients with acute stroke in the first stage of rehabilitation. Inclusion criteria: •Acute period of the cerebral stroke either ischemic or hemorrhagic. •The Modified Rankin Scale more than 2 scores at the beginning of rehabilitation. •Age over 18 years old. Exclusion criteria: •Self-service degree before the stroke was more than 2 scores on the Modified Rankin Scale •Surgery is conducted or is planned •Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) •Isolated Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) •Level of consciousness at the admission at the level of coma 2 degree or more, that is below 8 scores on the Glasgow Coma Scale Criteria for the finish of rehabilitation on first stage: •The patient fully realized the rehabilitation potential and rehabilitation team can not give more improvement of his/her functioning. Primary endpoint: the modified Rankin scale (mRS) at the end of the first stage of rehabilitation of stroke patients
