A ventilator machine is a medical device that plays an important role in handling Covid-19 cases during a pandemic. Covid 19 patients are arriving at a referral hospital in Jakarta, meaning that the hospital must prepare its medical equipment, including a ventilator machine. The ventilator machine experienced problems because the efficiency of the machine decreased so many patients waited in the ICU room. Machine effectiveness has an average value of 62.26% so it has an impact on disrupting patient services at home. The purpose of this research is to look for factors that cause the lack of effective value of ventilator machines and find effective solutions to increase the effectiveness of ventilator machines so that they can serve Covid-19 patients during a pandemic. This research method combines Focus Group Discussion in determining 5W+1H and implementing the pillars of Total Productive Maintenance to improve the Overall Effectiveness of Equipment on Ventilator machines. This study found a breakdown factor of 54.10%, idle and minor loss of 41.20%, and others of 4.70%. The effect of overall improvement has been able to increase the average effectiveness value by 85.00% from Sep 2021-Feb 2022, so this is supported by the hospital's program in terms of increasing the effectiveness of machines in patient care.

SMEs are medium-level community businesses with limited capital. The type of business that can revive the economy, especially the economy for families, is the SMEs culinary business which is consumed by the community every day. One of the SMEs that is still surviving despite experiencing a decline is the SMEs in the culinary field. The results of observations and interviews with one of the SMEs culinary businesses, in a period of 12 months, sales decreased by an average of up to 50%. The cause of the decline in sales is not known with certainty, so it is necessary to evaluate the performance of these SMEs. QFD is one method that can be used to obtain a clear and objective picture of Customer needs. The research method involves Customers as respondents, the number of samples is 80 with 26 valid and reliable attributes. The results of the analysis using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) show that there are five attributes that are considered important for Customers to become priority improvements. These attributes are related to the Tangible aspect, namely the presentation of Durian sticky rice products that are attractive, the portion according to expectations, Assurance, namely the consistency of the ripeness of the durian fruit, the taste of the durian fruit is felt in every portion, Empathy, namely the ethics in serving Customers. Based on the QFD approach, the priority is the technical importance rating by making standard operating procedures for each technical response in the form of standard operating procedures for checking raw materials and the amount of raw materials used in each serving, re-examining, providing the composition of the main raw materials so that the taste remains consistent (Assurance). Serving techniques with serving portions, cleanliness of physical facilities (Tangible), service to Customers and socialization of Customer service standards (Emphaty), and ordering techniques (reliability). So that in order to maintain and maintain the quality of SMEs products and services in the culinary field, it is necessary to conduct a performance assessment, especially related to the four aspects of service quality Assurance, Tangible, Empathy and Reliability as a design in assessing service quality

Purpose: This study aims to analyse the causes of partial set-up work that is not optimal and provide solutions to the sub-optimal set-up work on family-type moulds in type A. Methodology/Approach: This study uses an 8-Step improvement approach combined with several methods, including Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Quality Cost Delivery Safety Moral (QCDSM), and Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant Timebase (SMART) method. Findings: This study found the cause of the partial set-up work being less than optimal due to problems with the Man, Method, and Machine factors. The results of this study show that the set-up time decreased from 240 minutes to 73.4 minutes or 68%. Meanwhile, the process cost for the partial set-up itself decreased from $75 to $3 or decreased by 97%. Research Limitation/implication: This research has limitations in the partial set-up process, which is less than optimal in plastic injection family-type moulds in the Motorcycle Industry. Originality/Value of paper: This research has value in optimising the production of plastic injection family-type moulds by reducing set-up time and operational costs for making spare parts in the Motorcycle Industry
