Implementation of an Immersive Videogame

Abstract: Legends of Girona is a serious game which can be used to teach local history to students in the province of Girona in Spain. The game is a graphic adventure taking place in both present-day and medieval Girona. The authors describe in this paper the design of the game, including aspects related to artificial intelligence, advanced computer graphics, exergaming, mobile platforms and immersive devices.
