Vehicle tracking has found its applications in a variety of domains. Most of the currently available vehicles tracking systems are based upon using some expensive tracking units that employ only GPS signals to determine position and have very high monthly subscription charges from their service providers. To reduce the cost for such applications, this paper proposes the use of a partially damaged or low-cost android device with GSM capability and some other useful working sensors to periodically report the location and then display and monitor the determined location set on a remote digital map. This device can be integrated with a vehicle and made to boot up and start tracking automatically as soon as the vehicle’s ignition is turned on and stop tracking and shutdown automatically after the vehicle’s ignition is turned off. These devices may find application in fleet management, public transport systems, etc. as discussed inside this paper.

An efficient bull tracking system is designed and implemented for tracking the movement of any bull from any location at any time. The designed device works using GPS and GSM technology for bull tracking. Arduino microcontroller is used to control the GPS and GSM module. The device is embedded on a bull whose position is to be determined and tracked in real time. The microcontroller is used to control the GPS module to get the coordinates at regular time intervals. The GSM module is used to transmit the updated coordinates of bull location to the client via SMS and mobile application. When the SMS is received, the app will automatically read the SMS and update the location of the bull to the user. This device will help the user to always keep an eye on their bull.

Modern technology must be integrated into educational institutions as they develop into "smart campuses" in order to guarantee the security and effectiveness of day-to-day operations. This study combines GPS tracking technology to present an architectural framework for the deployment of intelligent security gates and automotive asset management systems. The objective is to build a secure and effective environment that improves campus security and maximizes the use of available resources. The suggested architecture combines a centralized software platform with innovative hardware elements, including GPS trackers, RFID readers, and security cameras. RFID-enabled security gates improve access control by limiting entrance to the college grounds to only authorized people and vehicles. Surveillance cameras simultaneously offer real-time monitoring to guarantee adherence to security procedures. The vehicle asset management system utilizes GPS technology to monitor campus vehicles in real-time, increasing fleet management efficiency and enhancing general campus security. GPS tracking integration allows scheduling maintenance, optimizing routes, and notifying authorities of unwanted vehicle movements.
