Abstract: This work presents the development of an OpenFOAM solver aimed at correctly predicting dynamics of concentrated suspensions when subjected to non-uniform shear flows. The newly implemented solver is able to predict the behavior of a heterogeneous mixture whose characteristics depend on the solid particle local concentration.
