This study aims to describe the urgency of religious character education in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Because, religion is a very important source of character, even becoming the core of character education. Peseta students who are well religious by themselves have a strong character, so that 17 value criteria from the Ministry of Education and Culture are attached to these students. People who are religious correctly do not contradict Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, even religion supports the establishment of the constitution and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The informants were teachers in the former Banyumas Residency, namely from Banyumas Regency, Cilacap Regency, Purbalingga Regency and Banjarnegara Regency. Data were obtained by interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data validation is done by triangulation, both source triangulation and engineering triangulation. The results showed that conducting religious character education is not enough to be done cognitively, but must be done with an effective approach. Affective education is not effective when done instructionally, but must be done by good example and by habituation. With habituation, students reflexively behave as desired, becoming individuals with character.

It is urgent to carry out character education because with the provision of character education students will be able to empower their potential to build their personal character so that they are able to become individuals who are beneficial to themselves and their environment. Focus and aim of this research is to analyze the value of character education from the Indonesian Animation Series: Adit Sopo Jarwo for elementary school students. Type of research used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type. The data sampling technique used purposive sampling and the samples in this study were fourth grade elementary school students and teachers who taught in that class. The research procedure used in this research uses qualitative data analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, presenting data in descriptive form and making conclusions. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews and observations. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results and conclusions are obtained that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo has character education value, namely the mutual cooperation character in the episode "Serunya Kerja Bakti dan Tamasya Bersama" and the independent character in the episode "Bunda Pergi Adel Mandiri", so that the Indonesian Animation series Adit & Sopo Jarwo can be used as audio visual media to instill the character of mutual cooperation and independence in elementary school students.

Kemandirian merupakan bagian dari proses perkembangan yang diharapkan terjadi dalam rangka menuju kedewasaan. Hasil observasi dilapangan ditemukan masih ada anak yang belum mempunyai sifat mandiri salah satunya tidak bisa membuka dan memasang kaos kaki dan sepatu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun. Dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan guru kelas dan guru pendamping serta anak kelas B di salah satu TK Al-Furqon, Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif. Wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi semuanya digunakan dalam metode pengumpulan data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kemandirian anak dapat dilakukan dengan metode dan media pembelajaran yang baik dan menarik bagi anak. Untuk hambatan yang ditemui dalam kemandirian anak terdapat pada saat anak pertama kali masuk sekolah. Kebaharuan pada penelitian ini terletak dalam media yang dipakai guru didalam meningkatkan kemandirian anak yaitu menggunakan APE Mobil Pintar Urang Banjar
