Abstract:Interconnecting macromolecules via multiple hydrogen bonds (H‐bonds) can simultaneously strengthen and toughen polymers, but material synthesis becomes extremely difficult with increasing number of H‐bonding donors and acceptors; therefore, most reports are limited to triple and quadruple H‐bonds.
