Abstract: Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome first described by Stein and Leventhal, is a complex genetic trait of unclear etiology characterized by Oligomenorrhea or anovulation, biochemical or clinical hyperandrogenism and polycystic ovarian morphology on ultrasonography.
