Impaired bidirectional communication between interneurons and oligodendrocyte precursor cells affects social cognitive behavior

Abstract: Cortical neural circuits are complex but very precise networks of balanced excitation and inhibition. Yet, the molecular and cellular mechanisms that form the balance are just beginning to emerge.
