Abstract:This study investigates the efficacy of ZnCl2 as a corrosion inhibitor for mild steel across varied pH environments (3.5, 7, and 10). Findings highlight a significant reduction in corrosion rates with increasing ZnCl2 concentrations, pinpointing optimal levels at 350 ppm (pH 3.5), 575 ppm (pH 7), and 325 ppm (pH 10).
