Impact of the TCF7L2 genotype on risk of hypoglycaemia and glucagon secretion during hypoglycaemia

Abstract: IntroductionIn healthy carriers of the T allele of the transcription factor 7-like 2 (TCF7L2), fasting plasma glucagon concentrations are lower compared with those with the C allele.
