The aim of the article is to present the logistic models of world cities, their benefits and limitations, which serve as best practices for others, which are based on a secondary analysis of case studies. The studies were selected on the basis of geographical location, number of transport projects, implementation models for urban logistics, and determining the effects of implementation. In addition to the secondary analysis, the findings of consultants, methods of comparing case studies, summarizing the findings in the discussion, or deductions in drawing a conclusion were also used. The output of the article is a recommended implementation of logistics model for Smart Cities according to world experts, which can be implemented in general for any city, including specific differences for the selected location. The article describes the positive impact of technology in mobility not only for citizens but also for business managers and the city as a whole. The implications of the model, its testing in practice and the observation of implementation benefits and limitations will form a part of further research activities in the future.

In professional sports, predicting success factors is very vital and important and is always questionable. The failure of teams in the leagues has been a constant issue and progress and gaining status has been a challenge for all clubs; and managers, officials, sports federations and clubs, and even researchers, are trying to shed light on the various dimensions of this issue. The purpose of this study was providing a model of predicting the success of football clubs in the Asian Champions League. The present study is descriptive-correlational. Seven Asian countries that won the Asian Champions League (ACL) were analyzed between 2014 and 2019. At the level of descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation, and at the level of inferential statistics, because the response variable (success) was a qualitative variable, the logistic regression model was used. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software. Findings showed that 80% of the success of clubs in the ACL is correctly identified using the research model and foreign players, the average value of each player, the total value of the club and the number of players in a team have a positive impact on the success of football clubs. The age of the players has a negative effect, in other words, the lower average age can contribute to the success of football clubs. Therefore, these factors are considered as a comparative advantage for the success of clubs and managers and stakeholders are suggested to put the necessary planning and investment on their agenda to achieve these things.

Professional football has been recently characterized by an increase in game speed and complexity. From this, it follows that football referees also need to improve their skills to keep up with players and adequately respond in various disputed situations. The purpose of this work is to increase the performance indicators of physical fitness and activity of referees during the annual cycle. Most referees prefer the game method. For a football referee or referee’s assistant during a game, physical activity is similar to that of runners/athletes. Football referees are engaged in performance that is more intense, as compared to their assistants, at the international level especially. Such conditions are close to extreme and are characterized by an intense physical load dictated by game duration. This study suggested using athletics in comprehensive sustainable training of football referees. As it turned out, athletics-based training significantly improved the motor activity of football referees.
