Impact of the Local Inflammatory Environment on Mucosal Vitamin D Metabolism and Signaling in Chronic Inflammatory Lung Diseases

Abstract: Vitamin D plays an active role in the modulation of innate and adaptive immune responses as well as in the protection against respiratory pathogens.
