Abstract:In the present study the effect of two quantum dots ZnS and CdSe on the Refractive Index of Nematic Liquid Crystal Polymer System (NLCPS) is investigated and compared. The measurement was performed for both the systems separately, using an Abbe Refractometer, within a temperature range of 20°C to 80°C with wavelengths in the visible spectrum.
