Impact of pretreatment severity on fungal cellulase production on sugarcane bagasse substrate

Abstract: On-site production of cellulases using lignocellulosic materials can improve the economic viability of biorefineries. This, however, requires the pretreatment of substrates using thermochemical conditions that can vary in severity.
