Abstract:Background: Oral antineoplastic drugs (OADs) play an increasing role in the treatment of cancer. Patients must have a high degree of understanding and autonomy to manage the numerous adverse effects at home. In Quebec, recommendations have been made for oncology pharmacists to systematically counsel all patients who are starting an OAD.
