“…Rana et al compared all diagnostic cytology examinations performed from March to May 2020 – the time frame of national lockdown in India – with those performed during the same interval in 2019 and found a significant decrease in thyroid cytology samples, with no FNAs of thyroid tissue performed during this period [ 22 ].
