Impact of Multiple TCP Connection and Increment of Number of Nodes in Mobile Ad-Hoc Wireless Network

Abstract: Mobile Ad-Hoc Network is an infrastructure less network where the nodes are mobile and each node behaves as a router. The routes may require a multiple hops in the network to reach the destination. There are many routing protocols in MANET that is used to govern the path from the source node to the destination node. This paper focus on the performance of two routing protocol namely DSDV and AODV which are proactive and reactive routing protocols respectively in a MANET using the Transmission Control Protocol N… Show more

“…The nodes in this type of network are not stationary, they are mobile and the connectivity is also dynamically and arbitrarily. The wireless nodes in this type of network can act as a router and host at the same time and can also take an active part in the creation and maintenance of routes in the network (Khawas & Gautam, 2017). The nodes in an ad-hoc network that are far away from each other and or not within the transmission range can communicate with each other through intermediate nodes (node acts a router along the path).…”
