Impact of multiple system diversity on throughput in heterogeneous cellular networks

Abstract: As different generations of mobile communication systems are installed in the same area, a mobile terminal (MT) can utilize the multisystem diversity (MSD) by accessing the system providing the highest signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (SINR).
