Impact of maintenance dose of eptifibatide in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention
Abstract:Background
ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is usually caused by a rupture in the atherosclerotic plaque, followed by platelet aggregation which ultimately leads to acute coronary artery occlusion. So far, few studies have investigated the effect of maintenance dose of Eptifibatide (glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor) in STEMI patients who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). Therefore, in this study, we investigated the effect of maintenance dose of Eptif… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
