Impact of intravascular ultrasound guidance on directional coronary atherectomy

Abstract: In contrast to the luminogram of coronary angiography, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) has proven to accurately assess both coronary lumen and vessel morphology due to its 360 degrees imaging capacity.
