Impact of Helminth Infections on Production of Chickens

Abstract: In free-range poultry rearing systems parasitic infections are frequent with prevalence's up to 100 %, which might reduce productivity. Two hundred and seventy 3-week-old chicks of Rhode Island Red (RIR), Fayoumi and Sonali (a cross of male RIR and female Fayouimi) were divided into 6 groups (2 groups for each breed) consisting of 45 chicks.
