Impact of family-non-universal $$Z^\prime $$ Z ′ boson on pure annihilation $$B_s \rightarrow \pi ^+ \pi ^-$$ B s → π + π - and $$B_d \rightarrow K^+ K^-$$ B d → K + K - decays

Abstract: We study the B s → π + π − and B d → K + K − decays in the standard model and the family-non-universal Z model. Since none of the quarks in the final states is the same as the initial quark, these decay modes can occur only via power-suppressed annihilation diagrams. Despite the consistency of the standard model prediction with the available data, room remains for a light Z boson. Taking into account the Z contribution, we find that theoretical results for the branching fractions can better accommodate the dat… Show more

“…Tedious sample preparation, the use of large quantities of organic solvents, and time‐consuming processing of samples with the use of specific stationary phases in chromatographic instrumentation are some of the handicaps of certain laboratories with low resources. In terms of that, photometric methods based on hazardous silver nanoparticles incorporating expensive antibodies or chemometrics , the use of chloroform in combination with organic dyes for the spectrophotometric determination of ofloxacin, are some examples using economic detection equipment, while others reported its quantification based on expensive chromatographic instrumentation .…”

“…Poly(ε‐caprolactone) (PCL) is a biodegradable and biocompatible member in polyester family that have been widely employed as biomaterials. [43b–d,49] PCL‐ b ‐(ethylene glycol) (PCL‐ b ‐PEG) and PCL‐ b ‐poly( N ‐isopropylacrylamide) (PCL‐ b ‐PNIPAM) were co‐assembled to result in a composite polymer with a PCL core and a mixed shell consisting of PEG and PNIPAM. In situ formation of GNPs was obtained by linking to the thiol groups anchored at the end of PNIPAM chains.…”
