This paper presents the results of research into the impact of information technology (IT) on individual and organizational performances in companies in Serbia: job satisfaction (JS), communication satisfaction (CS), organizational commitment (OCM), organizational trust (ITW), organizational learning (OL) and financial performance (FP). The data were obtained from a questionnaire completed by N = 380 middle managers from 102 companies in Serbia. The methods used for statistical data processing were: descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and the t-test. The main conclusions of the study are: 1. Information technology items in companies in Serbia are slightly above average values. 2. The level of information technology in the company is an indicator of the level of organizational performance in the company. 3. The level of information technology in the company has direct and indirect positive impacts on the level of a number of organizational performances in the company.

Abstrak: Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki pengaruh yang penting dalam perkembangan perekonomian di Indonesia, karena UMKM memiliki kontribusi yang cukup besar baik dari segi pemberdayaan masyarakat, pendapatan negara (pajak usaha dagang) dan peluang munculnya pembinsis-pembisnis baru. Dengan banyaknya UMKM yang berkembang baik dari tingkat daerah sampai tingkat nasional, akan berdampak terhadap kondisi perekonomi masyarakat sekitar. Desa Wangandalem belum memiliki banyak kebijakan terkait pengembangan UMKM, oleh karena itu tujuan kami melakukan pengabdian ini agar bisa mendukung perkembangan UMKM yang sudah ada. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini, kami melaksanakannya dua orang dengan menggunakan cara pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara dan praktik langsung di lokasi. Sistem evaluasi diagnotic evaluation, formatitiv evaluation dan summative evaluation, dengan indikator keberhasilan yaitu publikasi jurnal ilmiah. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari Desa Wangandalem terdapat 12 dari 54 UMKM dengan tingkat presentase 22,2% UMKM yang berhasil didaftarkan.Abstract: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important influence on economic development in Indonesia, because MSMEs have quite a large contribution both in terms of community empowerment, state income (trade business tax) and opportunities for the emergence of new businesses. With so many MSMEs developing from regional to national level, this will have an impact on the economic conditions of the surrounding community. Wangandalem Village does not yet have many policies regarding the development of MSMEs, therefore our aim in carrying out this service is to support the development of existing MSMEs. In this service activity, we carried it out with two people using data collection methods through field observations, interviews and direct practice at the location. Evaluation system for diagnostic evaluation, formative evaluation and summative evaluation, with indicators of success, namely scientific journal publications. Based on the results obtained from Wangandalem Village, 12 out of 54 MSMEs with a percentage rate of 22.2% MSMEs were successfully registered.

How Do Mobile Social Apps Matter for College Students’ Satisfaction in Group-Based Learning? The Mediation of Collaborative Learning

Recently, many universities apply mobile tools to teaching practices. For instance, some teachers may set up groups on mobile social apps and assign course tasks and advise college students to submit papers online. Nevertheless, how these mobile social apps affect teaching practices, especially the process of students’ satisfaction needs to be further explored. To fill this research gap, we build a theoretical model of how mobile social apps’ functions affect course satisfaction from the perspective of Media Richness theory and the Uses and Gratifications (U and G) theory. A total of 186 valid questionnaires from college students in China were collected, and a structural equation model was built to test our research model. The results show that as: (1) only the communication function has positive impacts on knowledge sharing, while the impact of the information storing function and information distribution function on knowledge sharing is not significant; (2) knowledge sharing does not affect course satisfaction in a direct way, but it can act indirectly through promoting collaborative learning, which shows the mediating role of collaborative learning. The theoretical implications and practical implications of the study are discussed.
