“…As concluded above, the heavy metal concentrations in all studied plantations were higher than the average concentration in agricultural soils. Compared to the results of Bertins et al (2020) (stem disc samples of six-year-old hybrid aspen trees obtained from agricultural land in the central part of Latvia), the concentrations of heavy metals Cu and Fe in our reference site (D) wood were higher.
