Impact of critical success factors on successful technology implementation in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) supply chain

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the impact of critical success factors (CSFs) impacting technology implementation in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) supply chain. The study has used existing literature to identify CSFs and then questionnaire-based survey and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to group CSFs. The paper has revealed that "Inter-Organizational", "Organizational", "CPG Sector Specific", "Human" and "Program Management" CSFs impact successful technology implementation in CPG supply… Show more

“…Nowadays, SMEs play a vital role in economic growth, poverty reduction, innovation, and employment generation (Stokes et al, 2010). In developing countries especially, SMEs play a key role to contribute rural economy, poverty reduction, employment creation, entrepreneurship development, exports growth, and manufacturing industry (Stokes et al, 2010;Arora et al, 2017). Hence, SMEs are considered critical and backbone for developing countries (Prasad, 2004).…”

“…Two main techniques have been used, Ant Colony Optimization and Iterated Local Search (Henn et al, 2010). Other meta-heuristics applied to the OBP use clustering based on pattern of demand instead of distances covered (Ho & Tseng, 2006;Chen & Wu, 2005;Arora et al, 2017). present several heuristics for the OBP while Lam et al (2014) state the OBP as an integer programming problem in which the distances covered in each sequence of visits is estimated and the problem is solved by a heuristic based on fuzzy logic.…”

“…Choosing different sets of machines can yield various part routes with inter and intracellular material transferring costs. In continue a number of related problems will be reviewed which can help address the problem statement of this research (Arora et al, 2017). Zhao et al (2010) focused on dynamic changes and uncertainties such as machine breakdown, hot orders and other kinds of disturbances in holonic manufacturing systems.…”
