Impact of chronic smoking on lipid peroxidation and electrocardiogram in ischemic heart disease

Abstract: Background: Cigarette smoking is one of the prime contributing factors for atherosclerosis. Chronic cigarette smoking causes disturbances in the electrophysiology of heart and may lead to ventricular arrhythmias.
