Abstract:Abstract. A review of the ATLAS measurements sensitive to parton distribution functions is presented. The analyses use proton-proton collision data at center-of-mass-energy √ s = 7 TeV collected at the Large Hadron Collider between April and November 2011. When included in QCD fits, the ATLAS data allow for improving the experimental constraints on the gluon and strange-quark parton density functions of the proton.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
