Impact Factor JUMPS After the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract: One of the most widely applied methods for evaluating a research paper's quality is the impact factor (IF). The term JUMPS was applied to the IF in an article published in PubMed in 2021, describing an increase of more than 40% of IF.
