Abstract: Background Although subarachnoid block (SAB) is the most popular regional anesthesia (RA) technique for fixation of femur fractures, continuous lumbar epidural (CLE) anesthesia, and lumbosacral plexus blocks (LSPB) are also employed in specific situations.
