Abstract: Background: The suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) is one of the nuclei in the anterior hypothalamus superior to the optic chiasma. It is well known that vasopressin and oxytocin neurons are located in the hypothalamic para-ventricular and the supraoptic nuclei.
