“…At our institution, we have collaborations with the University of Wisconsin Bone Marrow Transplant Program to obtain bone marrow mononuclear cells from healthy donors, performed clinically for bone marrow donation [305]. We have successfully harvested cells remaining in used filters after bone marrow transplantation yielding sufficient cells for multiparametric flow cytometry immunophenotyping [126], live cells to develop bone marrow stromal cultures, and cryobanking.
