Imidazole Antifungals: A Review of Their Action Mechanisms on Cancerous Cells

Abstract: Imidazoles, together with triazoles, constitute azole subgroup of antifungal drugs which acts by inhibiting cytochrome P450-dependent enzyme, the lanosterol 14-α-demethylase.
