Abstract:Renal replacement lipomatosis is a rare benign entity, characterized by diffuse replacement of renal parenchyma, sinus and hilum with adipose tissue resulting in renal parenchymal atrophy. Etiology may be secondary to obesity, cushing's syndrome, corticosteroid excess or idiopathic.
