For instance, in Mandell (2015a), this researcher interviewed eight editors at seven prominent Jewish weekly newspapers in the United States to investigate how these editors covered the Madoff storyand carved out their own niche -when they had limited resources in comparison to a mainstream media that vigorously pursued the Madoff story. In 2008, opponents of US President Barack Obama painted Hitler moustaches on his photographic likeness, and victims of Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff likened him to Hitler for the way he destroyed lives. This article examines how the 'Holocaust theme and metaphor' has emerged through media coverage of significant events in the United States from 2008 to 2009, through an analysis of newspaper articles. This study is situated within the broader context of Holocaust memory in American life. The metaphoric memory involving the Holocaust has less to do with factual, historic events of the Holocaust and more to do with the intended invocation of fear and a strong reaction from the public. This research concludes that references to the 'Holocaust' and 'Hitler' in news coverage of current events represents a rhetorical device to trigger an emotional reaction from the public, to warn the public against looming danger and to bolster support for their ideological position.

Financial fraud is a broad description including all frauds or scams that consist of credit card scams, insurance frauds, money laundering, securities frauds, or income statement misinformation to name a few. Out of all these misconducts, this chapter discussed only securities fraud that consists of any manipulation strategy to make a profit, whether income statement or market manipulation. Various cases are analyzed to describe the impact of frauds, how people's lives changed, and how cognitive biases/behavior heuristics can identify potential fraud. In the literature review section, it is analyzed how researchers and analyst who implements cognitive psychology can detect red flags of the phenomenon. The main limitations were the lack of research about the impact on victims' lives, the impact of fraud on social structure, the psychology of the frauds, and the cognitive bias/heuristics that a fraudster shows. The study laid the foundation for further research studies because more research is required to fully analyze this complex topic.
