Ileocecal Valve and Cecum Adenocarcinoma Metastatic to the Larynx

Abstract: Metastatic carcinomas to the larynx are rare and account for less than 1% of all laryngeal tumors. Cutaneous melanoma and renal cell carcinoma are the most frequent laryngeal metastases. Only 16 cases of laryngeal metastases from colon adenocarcinoma have been previously described in the literature. We present the first clinical report of ileocecal valve and cecum adenocarcinoma metastatic to the larynx and one cervical neck lymph node that was treated successfully with surgical excision.
