Abstract: We present a comprehensive theoretical and experimental investigation of the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation of dibenzyltoluene (DBT) using Pd-, Pt-, Ru-, and Rh-supported metal catalysts to identify the optimal catalysts for hydrogen storage and release processes.
