Identifikasi Jenis Dan Kepadatan Teripang Di Desa Monano Pantai, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara

Abstract

The characteristics of the Monano Beach ecosystem are dominated by dead coral rubble and seagrass beds, which are ideal habitats for sea cucumber resources. This study aims to determine the species, density level, diversity index, and uniformity index of sea cucumbers in the waters of Monano Pantai Village, North Gorontalo Regency. Sample collection was carried out in February-March 2021 in the waters of the Village of Monano Pantai by dividing the research location into 4 observation stations. Samples were collected at low tide using a 5x5 m quadrant with the Line Transect Method at each station. Each individual obtained is documented for identification.
