Identification of Traffic Accident Problem Levels on Motorcycle Rider Behavior Using Traffic Conflict Technique (Tct) Method Case Study: Cileungsi Road

Abstract: Accidents are unintentional or unexpected events that result in death, injury or property damage. Broadly speaking, accidents are caused by four factors, namely humans, vehicles, roads and the environment. This is related to the higher the number of vehicles, the more accidents occur. One of the factors suspected of causing an increase in the number of vehicles is the lack of public awareness of the role of public transportation advice.Traffic Conlict Technique (TCT) is an observation method that is carried ou… Show more

“…Traffic Conflict Techniques are observational methods used to identify and evaluate potential accidents or near-miss events in traffic. These techniques can help identify problem areas in the road network and allow researchers to analyse risk factors contributing to accident severity without relying solely on historical accident data [4] . In the UK, this method is frequently employed to assist in determining the causes of accidents and in the development of plans to lower the incidence of fatalities.…”

“…In the UK, this method is frequently employed to assist in determining the causes of accidents and in the development of plans to lower the incidence of fatalities. TCT entails looking at how drivers behaved before an accident and identifying situations when they may have caused a conflict that could have led to an accident [4] . Eyewitness testimonials or video recordings of the accident can be used for this analysis.…”

“…Traffic impact analysis is a study whose results are stated in the form of reports and notes on field point observation activities on traffic management impacts on central development, it is relevant that any changes in land use will also cause changes in the transportation system (Safiullin et al, 2020). With incremental reliability, it can be possible to calculate how many trips the new traffic management and engineering generation will require to overcome their impact (Sidiq et al, 2022). Road traffic engineering and management :: IJEBD :: is a traffic planning technique applied directly in the field and is usually short-term.…”
