Identification of the relationship between biomarkers of autophagy, apoptosis and inflammation in the acute period of atherothrombotic ischemic stroke

Abstract: The postischemic inflammatory response plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of acute ischemic stroke (IS). It has been established that acute IS is accompanied by aseptic inflammation, which induces the activation of costimulatory molecules in the process of innate immunity response to brain tissue damage.
