“…Therefore, some studies attempted to express and functionally analyse the entire CYPome of P. chrysosporium and model brown-rot fungus Postia placenta (Hirosue et al 2011;Ide et al 2012;Ichinose 2013). A few individual P450s with interesting activities were also looked at more closely (Kasai et al 2009;Syed et al 2010;Kasai et al 2010a;Kasai et al 2010b;Chigu et al 2010;Syed et al 2011;Ichinose and Wariishi 2012;Syed et al 2013b;Syed et al 2013c;Hatakeyama et al 2016;Sakai et al 2018;Yang et al 2018;Wang et al 2019). However, the research about fungal P450s is still in its early stages and often shares ideas and limited information rather than comprehensive details on the P450 function.…”

“…A series paper has to describe that Phanerochaete sp. P450 plays a critical role in the degradation of a neonicotinoid insecticide [49][50][51][52]. Acetamiprid (ACET) has been widely used for the last two decades, persistence in environments, potential risks to non targets, and one of the first-generation neonicotinoid insecticides.…”

“…Cytochrome P450s played a vital role in the metabolism of organic pollutants using rot fungi ( Mori et al, 2017 ). Wang et al (2019a) demonstrated the enzyme P450 (enriched by Phanerochaete chrysosporium ) to degrade neonicotinoid insecticide acetamiprid effectively. After the incubation of 20 days, P. chrysosporium eliminate 21% and 51% of acetamiprid in two different media such as ligninolytic and non-ligninolytic, respectively.…”
