Abstract:Summer-run Chinook SalmonOncorhynchus tshawytscha historically spawned in the Columbia River as far upstream as British Columbia, Canada, but the upstream extent of main-stem spawning in the contemporary Columbia River has been documented in the tailrace of Wells Dam, Washington.
