Abstract: BackgroundSynaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2A (SV2A) is a vesicle glycoprotein involved in neurotransmitter release. SV2A is located on the pre-synaptic terminals of neurons and visualized using the radioligand [11C]UCB-J and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging.
