Abstract:A technique is shown for the direct identification of non-minimum phase terms with application to system identification. No polynomial root finding is necessary with this approach. The method uses a combination of kepstrum analysis to first estimate a minimum phase term and the residual all-pass transfer functions which have the non-minimum phase information are then estimated with a cascaded recursive-least squares (RLS) algorithm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
