Identification of Isolated Hepatic Sarcoidosis With 18F-FDG PET/CT and MRI

Abstract: A 69-year-old woman presented with symptomatic hypercalcemia and deranged liver function. 18F-FDG PET/CT showed intense confluent avidity throughout the hepatic parenchyma, which was an isolated abnormality. Subsequent MRI demonstrated a diffuse infiltrative hepatic abnormality, with percutaneous liver biopsy findings consistent with hepatic sarcoidosis.
