Abstract:Cognitive impairment and psychotic symptoms are both common in schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease (AD), affecting more than half of the patients. Shared symptoms between AD and SCZ indicating similar cerebral pathophysiologies exist, common in both clinical and subclinical settings.
