Given the smaller sample size of this study (73) compared to other DO QTL mapping studies that employed considerably larger samples (e.g., ~300-500), (Keller et al, 2019;Linke et al, 2020;Price et al, 2023) we adopted a relatively liberal cutoff of a FWER <0.1 attained in either analysis to indicate a QTL.
