Abstract: Objective Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is an extremely deadly cancer with few effective therapeutic options available. Ceramide synthases (CERS), a family of enzymes that regulate sphingolipid metabolism, have been suggested to play a role in cancer initiation and progression.
