Abstract:Las especies del género Meloidogyne, son de distribución mundial y en general inducen la formación de agallas o nódulos en las raíces de una amplia variedad de plantas, debido a esto, es conocido como "nematodo agallador". Las plantas afectadas manifiestan pérdida de turgencia de las hojas, clorosis y marchitamiento, lo que reduce el rendimiento de los cultivos.
