“…Similar results was obtained in previous study. It has been shown that susceptible parent contributed the resistance alleles to various wheat diseases ( Poole et al, 2012 ; Ma et al, 2019b ). In addition to height QTL, a major and stably expressed QTL conferring SD designated as QSd.hebau-2D , which was located at 16.16 – 17.82 Mbp on CS and 16.39 – 18.36 Mbp on Ae.…”

“…An F 6 recombinant inbred lines (2CN RIL with 199 lines), generated by single seed decent method from the cross between the wheat ( Triticum aestivum L., 2n = 6x = 42, AABBDD) line 20828 and commercial cultivar 'Chuannong16' (CN16), were used in the present study. The line 20828 shows multiple spikelets per spike and high resistance to stripe rust (Ma, Ding, et al, ; Ma, Qin, et al, ). These excellent agronomic traits make 20828 be widely utilized as a breeding parent for the past 10 years.…”

“…Similarly, powdery mildew resistance gene PmTm4 was fine-mapped into 0.66 cM interval using comparative genomics approaches on large F 2 population (Xie et al 2017). Furthermore, high-density linkage mapping based on NGS-derived markers has enabled fine mapping of major traits like fungal resistance (Cockram et al 2015), powdery mildew resistance (Liang et al 2016), awn shape and length (Yoshioka et al 2017), flag leaf traits (Hussain et al 2017) and stripe rust resistance (Ma et al 2019).…”
